I also remember Carnaby Street -- it has incarnated into something completely different, from the 1960's. It's just a tourist spot now, in the 60's it was "where it's at!" My friends and I felt such country bumpkins when we first went there, in what we thought were the coolest clothes and our subtle makeup. The next time we went to Carnaby Street, our skirts were a good 6 inches shorter and our makeup was plastered to our faces!<br /><br />But yes, the song could have been about Beau! He just started it all.
